Wing Suit Base Jumping

July 28, 2009

I haven’t seen anything like this before, but talk about awe-inspiring.  You can literally fly.  Would you do the wing-suit base jump?  The craziest line - “now it’s getting BORING, so we play around” - who says stuff like that?!?

Awesome, this is the type of advancement we need. I saw this last year some time, It really shows how ingenuity can add something else to existing technology.

WOW, my adrenaline is pumping just watching that! That was just stoopid how close they were getting to the walls! I mean life must be just totally boring for people that need to do stuff like that to have fun.

Hmmmm….. wow. So very cool. Must do this before I die. It reminds me a lot of surfing, but with much harder waves. LOL.

I am a BASE jumper and even this is extreme for me. Damo if you want to get into this sport expect a very costly investment that will take up much if not all of your free time. First learn to skydive, then fly a wing suit, then in a few years of jumping out of planes and a few jumps (500+) find a mentor and learn to BASE jump and then finally fly a wingsuit off a big wall. BASE jumping is a very unforgiving sport and I have lost some friends who loved the sport (FLY FREE ELI!). It is not a decision to take lightly or to be made alone. It took some very long talks with my family to explain to them the path I took but in the end they may not understand however the will accept it. Life is short so experience it!!
